IE Languages - contains grammar tutorials for a large number of the Indo-European languages along with a history of English, basic linguistics, and a personal anecdotes on language learning

How to Learn Any Language - a site much like mine but focusing on language in general rather than just Spanish.  Gives an overview of a dozen or so languages along with their relative difficulties and challenges.  It contains much of the same advice I've presented here.  I wish I had read it before beginning my own studies!

History of Spanish - very brief history of the Spanish language

Linguists' History of Spanish - origin of the sound system and inflectional morphology.  Highly technical
