Let's Go 2005 Spain and Portugal:  Forget buying one of those European travel guides where you only get 20 measly pages per country.  This baby has 848 pages, over half of which is devoted to Spain.  It details every major city and region along with a few not-so-major cities and regions.  Let's Go is the standard hotel-museum-dining-type guide that you're probably used to.

The Rough Guide to Spain:  Most guidebooks focus only on a few popular cities (Madrid, Barcelona, Córdoba, Málaga, etc) at the expense of charming villages and deserted beaches.  Not so in this massive tome.  If you can't find it in here, it's not in Spain.  It won't give you every single cultural detail or thousands of pretty pictures, but it WILL tell you what you need to know to visit Spain.
